hai can anyone tell me the travelling time from metupalayam to ooty by bus. how much frequency of buses are there between metupalayam to ooty & also about the lodges there in ooty, is very costly or standard rates? which is best to travel in between metupalaym to ooty by toy train or bus??

Hi, I wanna beat this summer heat and would like to head to ooty from bangalore. Travel in my car, a beautiful drive through mysore n the forest before we climb on top. We are planning to visit Ooty-Kodaikanal-Kanyakumari during the first week of november 2009. will this be a right time to visit these places or there will be a heavy rain-fall at this time? How the rain will affected our journey & sight seeing?

This is the first time i coming to India with my wife for leisure purpose, between sept 2009 and mid november 2009 I would like to get some suggestion the mode of transport( which is cheap, affordable, and convinent) May be its sound a bit different caused i assumed the hospitality there would be as same as malaysia. i dont want to get cheated by the touts. where should i get the bus ticket from coimbatore to ooty in coimbatore. Hotel ( Budget range from Rs.1100 to Rs 1350 must be safe and clean with attached toilets and easy to access the city Who can arrange the tour for us in afforable amount in ooty hill station.Places like to visited are as follows: Doddabetta peak Boating at Pykara Falls at Pykara Wax World - (Wax Museum shooting meedu suicide point is one day enough for the sight seeing ? Pls advice me on the entrance fees and a best place to have alcohol beverages.

We want to go to kabini river lodge. We will be visiting Coimbatore,Ooty and Coonoor. How far is Kabini from Ooty? Do we have to go to Mysore to go to Kabini? How good is Ooty,Guadalur,Kalpetta road? Can we take that road to go to kabini?
