Whereabouts in Finland are you planning to go? Or do you go anywhere where there are latin people? ;)

Anyhow, Eatz, close to the railway station usually has a latin/salsa party on Fridays. You'll meet plenty of latinos there.

Furthermore, there are a few salsa dance schools, where many of the instructors are latin.

Yes, I'm in Finland. And I was talking about Helsinki, the capital. Turku is a 2 hour drive/bus ride/train ride from Helsinki.

I am sure there is at least a small if not active latin community in Turku also. But don't get mislead by the spa, which is named "Caribia". There's absolutely nothing Caribbean about the place unless you count a cheap copy of a pirate ship that.

Sorry, JohnTF, next time I'll wait for *your* answer :)

Good grief, even old Cliffie has managed to have a beer in Turku. Although he vaguely remembers thinking: Never again.

Alas, most of old Cliffie's travelling predates VT!

    Most noble.

Old Cliffie's brief encounter with Turku was when a few hours in transit at the airport allowed enough time for a couple of hours in the city centre.
