Myself and 2 girlfriends (all in our 40s) are contemplating visiting Beaches Resort at Turks and Caicos in Feb 2010. We are a little worried about being surrounded by kids on what we hope would be a relaxing holiday (we love the looks of the beach). Anyone been to the resort in February who has a sense of how busy it is with kids and if it adults without kids can enjoy themselves? Thanks!
I'm in my 40s too and stayed a couple of hotels down from Beaches with my friends. I don't recall seeing many kids there in the summer, so I think you'll be kid-free that time of year. That's one of my fave beaches in the whole world - specatular sand and water and goes on for miles. Be sure to go have a drink at the Amanyara Hotel Resort. One drink will set you back15 but it's a specatular place. I love the T&C!
