I have answered your question in the Uzbekistan forum. Be aware that the Turkmenistan Airlines planes serving London-Ashgabat actually travel Amritsar (or Delhi)-Ashgabat-London and vice-versa. We were hit by delays of several hours in both directions owing to weather conditions in India.

The only alternative I know is flying with Turkish Airlines with a stopover in Turkey. PJ
