We are travelling from Konya to Bursa and have been told it will take 8 hours for the journey. I was considering stopping overnight in Ayfon Karahisar, is this worth doing?
Afyon is famous for its thermal baths, special cream (kaymak) and sucuk. An overnight stay with some relaxation in thermal baths would be great. You can also take some souvenirs / delicacies which I mentioned above. You can also check my Bursa page for some useful tips.

Hi, It depends on what you look for.Afyon is a beautiful Anatolian city.You can find history, tastefull special delights and culture of real Anatolian living. If you have enough time it worths to see and it is good to rest. Afyon is also one of the preferred cities because of SPAs.There are many SPA hotels with different prices. Have a nice and enjoyable travel.
