Where to shop in Tunis during the afternoon?

Hi. In early June I am lucky enough to be going on a Med cruise. I will be visiting Tunis on a Tuesay, but we dont dock until 14.00hrs, after the souks have closed. I am happy to get a taxi. could you tell me please, where I can shop for local clothes and souvenires please, and is there anything interesting I should see or do, eat or drink? or not? Thanks, Annie x
