Hello I would like to find out some things about Tsukuba as I am planning to go there for a month for an exchange study program. Is it proposed by you as a destination rather than tokyo Chiba or yokohama? Is the cost as high as in Tokyo? Would you recommend Chiba for a European 23 year old student? How is the University? Thank you
Tsukuba is an artificial area developed for research and education. Tsukuba University has very wide campus and good facilities. Many of the residents have very high education records. If you need keep yourself from urban temptations for young people to concentrate on study, it is ideal place! Shiro

I think you are the only one to answer my questions. I aked about chiba too. When someone stays in tsukuba can he easily spend his evening in tokyo or other cities with more "life"?
