Hi does the US Navy CB base still exist? And what is the closest city?

Although I have been to Trinidad many times in the past, I cannot recall much about the base, other than it is or was located in Chaguaramas about 10k west of the capital Port of Spain. Google map it.
I am pretty sure that this particular base was given back to the Trini people back in the 60s, but I am not sure of the history.
What you can do is google >Chaguaramas and >navy base, and there is quite a lot of info there.
By the way I am pretty sure that there are no more specific SeaBee bases. The SeaBees are simply on US Naval Bases.
