Dear All, I am traveling in Trieste, Italy. I plane to leave at February 05 in the morning. My flight is 6:45 am. It is too early, and the first bus arriving at the airport is 5:50. Do you guys think it is a good idea to go to the Trieste airport tonight and stay there? Thank you a lot!
Airports are a safe place as a rule..and if they don´t have "closing" time, it is o.k to stay there. I think that some aiports with no activity at night are closed(for passengers) and they put everybody out...so you should check that.

Miguelzgz, thank you for your helpful information! I've checked that The trieste airport is close from 2:00 am to 4:00 am. The airport people tells me to go into it before 2:00 am if I want to stay there.

Sleep at airport, it,s state own and airports have their own security. It should be safe

I used to fly in and out of Trieste airport for work several times a month and you always had a few people crashing there. often at the grass area just outside the terminal. It's not in a residecial area and things are very quiet there so you should be fine and you will almost certainly have a few companions sleeping there too while they wait for a plane and that makes things safer too.
