I’m going to be in Buenos Aires for a week or two at the start of my trip, can anyone recommend good places to party?
I'd like to travel around in Argentina for 3 weeks in July, with my 2 children from 6years (twins).
I don't want to book a vacation by a traveloperator, because I'd like to arrange my time myself at the moment itself.
Can you suggest me how I can travel the best (and the safest)? Does I have to hire a car with driver (I don't want to ride myself)? Will that not be too expensive? Or is it better to take the bus and taxi to bring me from one place to another? Do I have to do some reservations before for the bus?
Also, I saw there are campings in Argentina. Safe? Good idea to do that or better not?

How many connections are between Trelew and Puerto Madryn every day? How much cost a ticket? How long is travel?
We will be coming in to Trelew from P Madryn by car or bus ( we have not decided yet ), staying for the night, then flying out. So, I have several questions: 1) Can I rent a car in PM and drop it off in Trelew without a huge fee? 2) Can I drop the car off at the Trelew airport? 3) If we use a bus, can we get from the bus station to a modest hotel to the airport easily? 4) How soon should we be at the airport for an Aerolineas Argentinas flight that leaves at 8:15am? Help! We will be flying in to Trelew from BA for one day specifically to get to Punta Tombo to see the penguins. Can anyone recommend a good driver, taxi service or tour company? Also - approximately how much should it cost us? Or are we better off renting a car for the day - my only worry with this is driving on gravel roads in a rented car.... Any advice is welcome!
Hi, We will be in Argentina the last two weeks of December, and I am not sure if it is worth travelling to P. Valdes or we should concentrate on other destinations such as Bariloche, or Ushuaia (apart from the "not to be missed" Iguazu, P.Moreno and Buenos Aires). Any advice? One of the main issues is whether or not there will be whales to be seen by that time. Guidebooks say they are there till December, but I would like to know first hand if it is possible to see them so late in the season. Thank you, Miguel

Can anyone recommend cheap accomodation in Trelew that is reachable via email or fax? A backpacker hostel or cheap but clean hotel would be perfect. Thanks in advance.
