I am travelling from lodz to prague on June 15. I want to travel by day to see a bit of the country side. Train through wroclaw is slow, 11hours. As its 530 km by road I thought a bus could be ok, only 8-9 hours apparently. But it would need to be comfortable. Not keen on flying and its quite expensive. What would you suggest?
Hi there, I've heard that they do not allow British people into the pubs/clubs in Krakow, how true is this? We are a group of 7 lads age range from 22-26, FAR from rowdy. Our main reason for the trip is to experience Auschwitz and the Salt Mines but as we do also like a night out we would love to sample the nightlife. My worry is that I've heard the Polish will not let the British in due to recent rowdy stag parties from England, how true/stricthe is this and what are the club's that we'll most/least likely to get into?
The more you in advance, Matt.
What trains are available(time schedule), how long are the tripe and cost of the trips.
My boyfriend (swedish) and I (norwegian) are going to Świnoujście for 2 days in the easter-weakend.
I wondering about the opportunities for shopping? What type of shops can i find, is there any markeds, what can I expect? How is the prices?
We're never been in Polen before, so I'm gladly taking tips from you about all things we should try out and experience!
And one more thing, have you tried any spa service? Is it worth trying?:)
Hope for some answers:))
Trying to make an itineary but before I can do so, I need to know about train travel from Krakow, Poland to Bratislava, Slovakia. Are there direct or connecting trains? Are they overnight trains? How long is the journey? Are there trains from Krakow to Budapest, Hungary? Are they direct, connecting and/or overnight trains? And, finally, what is the cost for travel(senior rates/over 60yrs.old)
I was hoping you can help me with some information.
I am staying in Krakow for 4 nights then I have a free night before taking the overnight train to Budapest
I would like to visit Zakopane. I am considering spending the night in the area. I have to return to Krakow to take a night train to Budapest. How complicated is this?
Do you have any idea what the night train costs and how to arrange tickets?
Or would I be better to stay in Krakow and just visit for the day?
Hi everybodoy, I will be visiting Warsaw and Krakow late next September.
I will be arriving in Warsaw airport in a flight from Paris. Should I take an immediate flight to Krakow and visit K. first?
How far is the Krakow airport from the city center? How long is a train trip from Warsaw to Krakow?
How is the average temperature in Poland and the end of September?
Thank you very much for any info you could provide.
some time ago I read about a new museum being created in Warsaw. I don't know the name of it, but it was to exhibit Jewish life and customs before WWII. I wonder if anyone has the name? website? knows anything about a time table for completion?
thanks for the help.
