I'm looking for a 1-2 bedroom place for my family within 15 minutes of Traverse City. I'm finding most rental places seek full week rentals for the summer, and we only need 4-5 days. Any suggestions? I'd even consider a hotel if it has a suite set-up, with separate living and sleeping areas. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Bite the bullet and pay for a week. It still would be less than what any place would charge for 4 nights.

Grand Traverse Resort has condos - when we went last summer we were able to rent for four nights. I don't know if they've changed their policy since, though, but it might be worth checking out. Good luck to you!

If you're going to Traverse city during the first two weeks of July, you should book your place now. The National Cherry festival is going on then and everything books up for months in advance. see www.nationalcherryfestival.org for info. CO

My original e-mail was actually from 2006, not this year. We just ended up at the Days Inn, but it worked out fine. Had a great week, and I look forward to getting back to TC.
