I had a nice meal in a reataurant near the train station. I can't remember the name, but I think there are several restaurants all of which do much the same sort of food. Best wishes, Phil

Hi, in the big street that goes from the station towards "the big clock" (Near Trang Hotel) there is a small shop that sells wood toys, and other thai sovenier stuff. The owner is a dutch/thai couple who knows where to go.... But don't be afraid of the small street kitchens, some of them is very clean and the food is very fresh. Stop and take a very good look at the cook and look how many other people who is also eating there... Have fun..... by the way.... try the night market !!!! Greetings John
