Look at the official railway website for Ireland:

    http://www.irishrail.ie/

You will find train times, details and fares there. Online fares can be sold-out, but are available on e.g. 28th June for 19.99 euro and for tomorrow for 29.99 euro (only one train still bookable online).

Do you mean if I book on 28 June the fare will be 19 Euros and tomorrow 29 Euros? I have difficulties booking on line at the Irish Rail website. It says that this trip is not bookable on line

Yes, the fares differ according to how far in advance you are booking. That is often the case with European railways. Some routes have cheaper fares if tickets are bought well in advance (not necessarily online0.

If you cannot book online then you will just have to buy the ticket at the station. That will be ok, but you will not benefit from any advance discount fare which may be available for your route/date/departure time.
