For Australia in general, Good Friday is very quiet. Saturday is a normal for most shops, and Sunday and Monday are quiet but you'll get all your basic stuff easily enough. What type of services are you interested in for the Easter weekend in Torquay? I'd imagine you'll find restaurants, etc, if that's what you need.

This is a tourist area, so most, if not all shops will be trading over this period.This is when they hope the cash registers will sing, before the winter season hits:) As the previous poster mentioned, Good Friday will be the only quiet day.

I have found that most Easter Sundays everything is shut as well. It would pay to read the Herald Sun, as it will tell you what is and isnt open
