I'm planning a trip to China Town and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for purchasing Silk Lanterns of various sizes and colors. I'm also interested in great suggestions for silk or satin fabric.

There are many Chinatowns in Toronto . The one that most people goto is on spadina road . Walking up and down spadina between dundas and college you will find scores of shops selling what you 're looking for . Visit a few to browse the collection and prices before buying though . Generally speaking , the shops towards college street , away from dundas are a little less expensive .
On the northern fringes of the city , Pacific Mall - is the largest indoor Chinese mall in north America . They have a good selection too .
