These should be reached easyly by public transport.

Hi, I am travelling to Torino next week for 4 days. We are planning to stay 2 days in Torino, 1 day in Milan and I would like to find another place where to spend my last day. I would like somewhere near the mountains maybe or a village with small narrow streets and small typical shops. Can anyone suggest a place close to Turin pls? What about Aosta, is it easily reached from Torino by train? and when we're there can we make it around on foot?
I am going to Turin next week and I would like ask some tips for daytrips. What I already found is a trip to Sacra di San Michele or to Basilica di Superga, but for the last one we need much less then a day.
Is there any other interesting place to see within 1 hour by public transportation from Torino?

We are traveling from Annecy France to Asti, Italy. We have found connection to Torino however we arrive at Torino P.S. and the train to Asti leaves from Torino Porta Nuov. How can we make this connection in the least amount of time and expense?
Our womens' soccer team is going to participate in soccer/football at the World Masters Games in Torino in August 2013. I would like to book a train ride into the mountains but I do not know where to go for spectacular scenery... on a train ride ideally that would not require more then 2h to complete...
I looked in google earth and Grenoble seems a good fit but I cannot find a train schedule on raileurope.com...
Is it possible to go from Turin to Grenoble by train (or to Montelimar to taste their superb nougat!!!) ???
