    • Best half day cruise

Ha Long Feb 13, 2015 at 8:59 PM

We have to choose for a half day cruise on Halong Bay between Thien Cung & Dau Go caves or Sung Sot cave.
The first choice we are told goes past a floating fishing village but the second does not.

Ho Chi Minh City Feb 23, 2015 at 6:24 PM

      Hi,

Understand that we can apply for Visa On Arrival in Tan Son Nhat Int'l Airport and would like confirm with more update information for my trip in March 2015.

      1. Apply online to some Vietnam travel agents to get a "government pre-approved letter" by email.
      2. Present the "government pre-approved letter" to immigration officers upon arrival to get the visa chop
      3. Do we need to prepare any photos for the Visa on Arrival?
      4. The US$45 VOA visa fee must be paid in cash and in US$ only?

      Pls advise. Many tks,

Does anybody have any up to date information about the new 6 month VR visa? It is to be issued to people visiting relatives "or any other reason", which could mean anything. As we all know, the devil is in the detail.

Good honest tailors in Hoi An

Hoi An Dec 31, 2009 at 10:35 PM

Hi. I am new to the Virtual Tourist website and have been checking out all things in Hoi An. My husband and I intend to travel to Vietnam in Oct 2010 and have three days in Hoi An. We both would like to get some work trousers made and some business shirts for my husband, but do not know of any GOOD and highly recommended tailors in Hoi An. We dread getting there and starting from scratch and big totally ripped off. Any GENUINE recommendations would be most welcomed
