We just moved here from the states and I was wondering how to meet people and find things to do. I work from home and I don't get the social interaction that I need. Can anyone give me any ideas?
Hi there Timrå is one of all those small towns in the world where you will never really blend in unless you look the same, dress the same, think the same and vote the same as everyone else. I guess chances of you as Americans being so mentally close to Timrå people are minimal ... but don't despair! Suggest you hang out in Sundsvall instead. Considerably larger, more diverse, easier to make friends. I hope you will make many good friends because there are nice people in the area and the winter is long! Best wished from someone who escaped Timrå many years ago...
