Hello, I am planning the trip from Tiberias to Jerusalem, and would like to visit Jordan Valley, Beit Shean, etc.. Is it possible to take bus? Thanks!
Yes. There are 2 daily from Tiberias to Jerusalem (Sun to Thurs) via the Jordan Valley - at 6:30 and 18:20. There are also additional buses on shorter routes (e.g., to Beit Shean and the Jordan Valley only). Also there are many other buses from Tiberias to Jerusalem, but they do not go via the Jordan Valley. You may plan your trip with the help of a bus schedule at http://www.egged.co.il/Eng/

Once you are speaking about the northern part of the country it is easier to travel with a car, but it is definitly possible with the bus. If you are doing this during the summer, make sure you always have water with you. It can get very very hot!
