What time of year? I'm guessing snowy winter roads versus dry summer pavement could make a difference. :O)

OK, lets assume dry road: From Thunder Bay to International Falls is 4 hours 37 minutes: 214.2 mile via Trans-Canada Hwy/ON-11 W. As Alberton, Ontario is just a few miles from there, figure roughly 5 hours. It could, of course, take longer on winter road conditions.

Thanks goodfish. I just wanted to know if I could drive there everyday. Alberton is a small town right? Is there any big town or a city near by?

You know, I've never been there - just looked up the distance info for you. Google it on a map? International Falls (over the U.S. border) would be the largest town closeby. No, at nearly 5 hours, you can't drive there every day from Thunder Bay.

Here's some info on Alberton, and yes, it is very, very small:

Fort Francis connects with International Falls on the Canadian side:

I only know Thunder Bay, I lived there from 1997 to 1999(I was a student). I already had figure out that where about 4 to 5 hours by measuring the distance and time that took me from the airport to University (on a paper map from 1997) then I added how many times the distance to International falls (Alberton does not appear on my map but I founded on google). I need want to live there but I need to be near by a city for professional reasons, I need to get paid.

Well, International Falls is not exactly a city, and is in the U.S. and not Canada so you may have to consider some other locations.
