there's a private house. indian and foreign students living in community. roof terrace can be used. simple veg. food is included, price is about 250 rps. or even cheaper. sleeping on matress, no other furniture. maybe also long-term stay possible. nice and friendly athmosphere. not a family but maybe of interest for you... mail: trivandrumhouse@abwesend.de or phone: 0091 9847588319
