Looking for Summer Housing in The Hague

by TheoTraveler Online Now May 7, 2004 at 12:20 AM

I will be coming to do research in The Hague June 20- Sept 20 and am looking for one semi-furnished room. The most I could afford for rent is about 450-500 Euros. If you have any suggestions as to where to look for housing, please let me know.

Although in dutch these site might be of interest aanbodpagina.nl/catresult.as... and www.marktplaats.nl/markt/huur/denhaag The cheapest way is checking with Stichting Ad Hoc. They let out all kinds of property as temporary living space so it won´t be occupied by squatters. http://www.adhoc.org/htm/index2.htm Sire is in dutch but you can also call them +31(0)70 3120333. The places won´t have furniture but with a stop at a few of the second hand shops (kringloopwinkels) you might have the cheapest way of living and sometimes in superb locations. Other options are to stay at the hostel http://www.stayokay.com/ and search from there.
