Hola all. I am as discussed with several of you already open to whatever. Anything we have planned will be great fun. What matters most is meeting all you wild and crazy people on that side of the pond. The wheres and whats are second to me. Although i am behind doing it saturday instead of sunday. Oh well. those that know me know i'll do both...

Amsterdam might be nice but since we only come back from France the 2nd it might be a bit too much.. .. Besides we haven't had a meeting in Den Haag yet. And several in amsterdam already..

So what i actually wanted to say.. Voting is restricted to options in Den Haag\Scheveningen the 3rd and Leiden or Delft the 4th. That doesn't mean of course that a Vt-dinner in Amsterdam can't be arranged at some other time. Thought that Chris and Janet wanted to go there the 27th ..

Geez, that's difficult. Leiden and Delft are both interesting, historically, culturally and nightlife/eating out. Leiden is close to my heart but Delft is more compact. I think Delft, just because it's nearer home. I'd like to go to the Old Church and some museums as I missed out on that on my last 'touristic' visit.

It'll be a difficult choice. Hence the 'banning' of Amsterdam as a 3th option ;-) I have the same problem myself. Like both cities very much and haven't been to either of them for a while. Am thinking of making an pre-vt-meeting visit to check on options what to do and what to see.. At the moment i lean a bit to going to Delft. Since it'll be a sunday and Delft being a bit of a smaller city then Leiden it might be 'faster' to visit thus giving everybody enough time to AND visit the city AND going home on time..

Well i've been in love with Leiden for years and years. Amazing city. But that said i;ve already been there. this next visit there for me is to get some pics as i decided what digi cam to buy on my last trip in nov 2000. i have heard so many great things about delft. and somewhere new is always the place to be. sandra. we will go where the meeting takes us. going to be a wonderful time i am sure.

Chris, if Delft will be the place where the meetings is.. We can always make a quick stop-over in Leiden on some other time..

I have been to Leiden and Delft ............ train station ;-) - so I don't really mind. Both sound beautiful!

I took the liberty to add myself to the meetings calendar. I'm sure you won't mind :) Haven't been to Leiden OR Delft yet. But since they are both on my list of places to see in January, I really don't mind.

Yay! It's booked! I'm flying into Amsterdam on December 29th, and coming back on the 9th. So, I plan on attending both meetings. I'll go add my name on the meetings calendar. Can't wait to meet you all finally - and see you again Chris. Cheers, Brandon

mmm don't think I will be able to make it. I possible have a visitor just a few days before with whom I want to explore Antwerp and Bruges. Then I already have the Amsterdam meeting I sure don't want to miss this time and a meeting when Brewdog comes and the other one in April at Eindhoven with Catnl. I think few more meetings would kill me `-) But have fun.

Danielle, We'll just want a couple of weeks and by then you surely have changed your mind ;-)

So glad to see so many of you looking into joining this party. Brandon, will be great to see you again. who knew in less than a year we could merge the Amsterdam and edinburgh meetings.....

Sorry yubert. this party is avoiding amsterdam. but come on over. this party is only a couple days. amsterdam (so i hear) will still be there before and after.

Yubert, do come over... As Chris already told you,. the VT-meetings will not be in Amsterdam. But you could celebrate new year there with Brandon. And ask Salampeace to join you!
