Hi All, I'm going to drive with my gf from Adelaide to Melbourne this Easter (well just before to avoid school holidays). We're planning on stopping in the Grampians for two nights and wanted to find a nice camping area. We are hiring an Apollo campervan for 2 people so we don't need a lot of room. Does anyone have any good suggestions? We would love to find a site that has plenty of walking trails and swimming spots.. Thanks for your help! Pete

Hi everyone, My girlfriend and I are planning to visit the Grampians this coming July but she hates walking and not interested in doing climbing. Is there something around there for us to do? I personally don't mind walking and climbing but since my gf doesn't like like it I need to find activities that is not too physically exhausting. Is is ok to visit the area in July since it will be in the middle of winter. Thank you very much for your advice.

      Cycling in the Grampians

by lyus Online Now May 7, 2004 at 3:23 PM

I am bringing my bike over to Melbourne this month and plan to do some cycling around Victoria. I would like to know what the road between Dunkeld and Halls Gap is like - is it steep? Winding? Which way should I cycle - north or south?
