Hi! My boyfriend and me would like to book a round-trip on the Bahamas in may. (Nassau - Grand Bahama - Abaco - Eleuthera - Cat) The flights are expensive and the most flights are available just with a stop on Nassau. Are there other possibilities to hop from island to island? I heard about those water taxies. Are they available any time and between all islands? We want to make sure not to sit on a island and not coming away anymore. Sorry for my english ;) Please help us! We don't know what's better: to book every transfer now or to look when we're there?? THANK YOU!
There are taxi and local ferries as well as short plane hops, but only on certain days. It depends on how long you will be there where these trips are worth the money. If you have money there is no problem, you can hire a boat and connect to different island. If you do what the locals do, it is like a slow boat to China.
