Hi, I'm planning a short escape to LHI while on my trip to Oz. How's the weather then? is it warm enough to snorkel wihtout a neoprene? I'm aware it's the beginning of spring and other places mainland might be a little bit chilly, but as it seems to be a subtropical locations, I was wondering whether it is worth to stay more or less depending on the temperatures and possibility (or not) to swim and so.

We are going to be in sydney in July what kind of weather should we typically expect? And do museums and attractions close earlier in winter?
Hi, 4 adults visiting in mid November 05.... we have 10 days to enjoy after venturing to Sydney, Melbourne and Alice. We could prob. do with more days in Sydney, but we also like the idea of a few days, or more, by the sea and I recall some lovely little places near to Lake Macquarie, which we visited a couple of years ago on the way back from the Hunter Valley. Hotel, motel or apartment...... no children and all we really want is a restful time and to potter around the area and enjoy. Prob. will go back to the Hunter Valley as 2 of the group havent been before. All suggestions/advice welcome, many thanks in advance. Graham.
