I will stay in this hotel at 12 and 13 november, and I would like to visit Ancona tourist attractions in time 7.00-12.00h on November 12th.
I am a Canadian Mom travelling to Europe with my 3 sons (age 15 to 22) over the holidays. We have open Dec 27 to Jan 2 that we were hoping to spend in Italy. Having never been there & knowing we will only get a glimpse of Italy in that short time frame, we are trying to decide where to go. We planned to avoid Rome, Milan & Vatican City to avoid crowds and sadly terrorism (though we know that can happen anywhere). We were thinking possibly Naples or Florence. I also realize being off season some things may be closed or close early. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hi. I am looking for the SITA bus schedule for Sorrento->Amalfi (Positano also)
I tried this link ENG -> Amalfi Sorrento but it just leads back to a previous page. so I wind up in a loop
also, tried this link
http://www.sitasudtrasporti.it/ but cannot find it in there either.
Where can i download the schedule?
We are staying in the recently opened A.Roma Lifestyle Hotel on the Via Giorgio Zoega, in the Gianicolense area, in January.
As it is outside the city taxi fares are expensive. We are arriving at Ciampino Airport and it looks as if taking a Terravision coach to Termini Station is the cheapest option, and then a bus to Piazza Biagio Place.
Does anyone know if the bus is none-stop to Piazza Biagio Place and how we reach the bus stop for the bus H from where the Terravision bus stops, which I understand is outside the Terra Cafe.
Hi planning to fly into Bergamo and spend a couple of nights there. Then off to a wedding in Bellagio for a few days then off to Garda for a couple of days then back to Bergamo for the flight home.
What train / bus links would be the best to take. Approx costs and travel times?
Thanks in anticipation.

we will only have 3 nights in Tuscany. My husband really wants to stay in Florence, and I on the other hand want to experience the Chianti region (Castellina). I think I will give him overnighting in Florence because he seems very excited about that. I need suggestions:
We will arrive in Florence by train (coming from Venice) and can drop luggage at hotel and get started on sightseeing asap. I definitely want to visit Siena and would love to spend the last day touring some of the smaller villages in Chianti by car. We can rent a car for the day to tour Chianti and then drop off that night if possible. I don't mind hiring guides or purchasing tickets in advance for the more popular sites, so we can hopefully skip some of the long lines. I know this is a lot, but I don't want to give in for driving through those amazing villages in Chianti. I appreciate any advice.

Hello. Can someone please help me. I have never used the bus in Italy before. I need to get from The Uffizi Gallery to Boboli Gardens. Also, what is the procedure once on the bus? Don't mean to sound ignorant, but this is new to me. Thank you in advance!
