Hello im going to prague next sunday and im staying there for 3 nights, 2 full days, so i was wondering which places have the priority to visit, near the old town and charles bridge?
Also i want a recommendation to cheap good place to stay in near the old town.
Also what about transportation to important areas, sbahn or bus? Is it available the whole day?
And do they speak and understand english? As i dont know czech :)
Finally i heard they dont accept euros, only koronas, is that true? And what to do with that.
Also would be cool if we hang out around the city and do whatever.
Waiting for answers :))
I am planning to visit Prague, Budapest and Vienna on Aug-Sept, spending around 15 days.
I don t know how to start. I d like to finish my trip with the best place, so maybe it should be Budapest, Vienna and Prague?Which one needs to spend more time? Does it worth include another city/country nearby?
Any suggestion about the best period or events occurring between aug and sept?
I'm staying at a nice hotel near the Charles Bridge. All is fine except that they're charging 20 EUR per day for parking.
1. Can anyone recommend parking elsewhere for less or for free?
2. If parking a car on the street here, is it generally safe or are tourist's cars known to get broken into? (it's a Toyota station wagon)
I'm planning to be in Prague this month and want to go for a day to Terezin. I want to go on my own, not with a group.
What is the best way to get there from Prague - bus or train? If bus, where do I get the bus? If train, from which station does it depart and is it a direct train, or do I have to transfer? If you know fares and bus/train frequency, that would be a bonus. Thanks in advance.
