Vrådal - thats a small village in Telemark and obviously there must be a way to transfer that "å" into 1 or 2 other letters, so the VT-searchmachine would accept it like it accepts only ue for the german letter ü
Have you tried "aa"?

I tried ae...I don't think we have it in VT...

the strange thing is I can copy and paste these letters from VT-pages, but as soon as I put these words into a search it does not work.

It works on front page search...which is a newer techonology, but I think we just don't have it...for example, you can put Ísafjörður into that new search and it works just fine. We now need to retire that old search and replace with the new one.

I'm talking about the VT front page search...on the front page of VT where it says where do you want to explore in giant orange letters...it works. try it.

Oh I see, I have never tried that out, it works fine there, BUT Vrådal is obviously not in the database, maybe its too small a village. Good to know that this search-machine works fine also for special letters !

G, that's great news! Will you also be able to create more tiny villages, like Moscosi near Apiro? Haha, if yes, then expect a wave... almost a tsunami of requests for new additions :-)

Yep, we'll be able to create new towns, villages, etc. After more work later, we'll also be able to merge and sort locations more. We're also importing all the locations of attractions so that we can plot things like say a museum or restaurant on maps...and in relation to each other. That work is going on right now.

I hope the updates will include all the other Norwegian characters, because I've never been able to access the Tromso pages because of the character at the end (the o with the slash) that I can't replicate on my computer. To get to the Tromso pages, I've had to open "Norway", then scroll down to find a Tromso question to open! Thanks for taking care of this.
