I am going to Tel Aviv with my dad and a friend of mine for 2 days.
It will be our first time there and as we are only there for 2 days, we realise we won't have the chance to squeeze everything in. However if you can help us with some questions for me and my friend:
We hope we might get some shopping done while there. do you know any good etc?
places for designer clothes (young fashion, not
what are the good places to eat, where locals go to?
where do the locals go out during the day or at night? which cafes, bars etc
are there any sights we shouldn't miss?
If you could please answer by Monday morning cos we are leaving next week.
There are thousands of cafes and restaurants around Tel-Aviv so it's impossible to say where the "locals" go to. The city is quite small so you will find places everywhere. One nice nocturnal spot is the old port of Tel-Aviv at the north part of the city. There are places along the beach. There is a hufe selection of restaurants in Herzliya, which is 10km north of Tel-Aviv.
If you happen to be here on a Tuesday or Friday, you should go to "Nacahalat Binyamin" street. They have a street market there on these days. One popular place for yound people is Shenkin street, right next the street market. You can find there a lot of cool stores.
