I shall be spending a few days in Tehran, including a Friday and a Saturday. I am told that there are 'non business' days, as are Saturdays and Sundays in Australia and many other countries. I am wondering if places such as markets will be open on these two days. Basically what will be open and what will be closed?
hello dear In Iran many markets and stores are open in holidays like Friday . so do not worry and remember to visit ramsar if you wanna travel to Iran it is 6 hours with car from Tehran and here i will show you every thing you want . and remember it is paradise of Iran Regards

Many shops and businesses will be closed on Fridays, and some even on Saturdays. For example the bazaar in Tehran will be almost empty on a Friday (but it is open on Saturdays). The museums will be open though.
