Is there any way to get to Taormina once you arrive in Sicilyother than driving yourself?

    Of course. Depends where you arriving. There are trains. Times, details and fares in English here; trenitalia.it/homepage_en.ht... The station also serves Giardini Naxos, and is thus named Taormina-Giardini. You'll need bus or taxi up to Taormina. And there are buses, of course.
