Is there any way to get to the island for a day trip in late November??
Found these via a Google search: tangierisland-va.com/transpo... chesapeakebaysampler.com/Tan... I would give some of these outfits a call and see if you can schedule transportation to the island.

The web sites I've seen usually only show ferry transport through October. The boats run year round for the Island residents, the mail and provisions though. I suggest you call the Capt Eulice to see if you can get out for the day. Otherwise, see about the bayside tour boats. One of them may be willing to take you off season.
