Staying in Tampa but want to Drive to Clearwater Beach a few times questions..

Hi I am trying to find a hotel in Tampa that is close to Clearwater Beach. The ones on Clearwater beach seem to be motels? or very expensive hotels. We love the Embassy Suites and what they include so there are a few in Tampa that I would love to book but don't want to make the wrong decision. Please give me your advice or if you have any hotels in mind in Clearwater or closer to it that are decent. The ones we are looking at are and the top is the closest to Clearwater but I don't know which one to pick,which one is close to stuff we might go to, we don't plan on going to Busch Gardens. The Airport one is probably the closest. Have a look at the BW Yacht Harbor Inn. It is not a bad substitution

Thanks so much, I am looking at the Holiday Inn now. Were there a lot of places to walk to nearby?
