Some questions.

Could you suggest some daytrips from Tallinn? I like small villages, castles and parks.

Is it a good idea to spend some days in Tallinn the first week of september? Are there any special event at that time.

    I suppose Tartu sounds good, 2hours by bus, to see the old university and very nice town. I didn't visit but wished to be in Saaremaa Iseland.

    Hi!

    It is worth to do daytrip to North-Eastern Estonia. There is lots of must see sights and nature is the nicest in Estonia.
    Some tips: Toila sea resort with beautiful park, ruins of the presidential palace, beach,... nearby excellent Ontika/Valaste waterfall and limestone shore!!!, Kuremäe orthodox nunnery, Narva city (with castle!!) on the border with Russia ...

    oh yeah, Narva. although I saw castle only from the bus window. But funny there is a little river and on one side is Narva castle and opposite is Ivangorod (Russia) castle. very interesting. it is around 2 hours by bus as far as i remember
