My parents are Iranian, but I've been born and raised in Toronto, Canada all my life and have never stepped foot in Iran. I'm planning to go this summer by getting a tourist Visa (it would be the fastest way, about 6 weeks, compared to getting an Iranian passport which would take a few months). But I've been told by several people that since both my parents are Iranian they will reject my tourist visa application. Is this true?
I am looking to fly between Tashkent in Uzbekistan and Tehran in Iran. I can see that there is a flight but not the approximate price. Does anyone have any advice?

How long would it take to drive from Tehran to Takht-e Soleyman? Is it doable in a day? Are there any other ways to get there than by road? Train? Plane? Thanks
