Hi all... I am planing to go during the Moon Cake festival period somewhere mid sept. But is it a good time to go during the Moon Cake festival period? will the night market still happening during that period? and the shops are they open?
everything should be open, it's a holiday and it is celebrated with or without tourist. cheers tommy x

Welcome! You can enjoy the mooncake then. In that holiday, you will find different type celebration activities from north Taiwan and South Taiwan. But lot of people will BBQ that night.
