Hi, How easy is it to book train tickets from Taipei to Kaohsiung? Will the staff at the ticket office be likely to speak English? Thanks
It is painfully easy. The staff may or may not speak English, but I found that at least one in the station office did if I was really in need. However both the ticket office and the automatic machines are easy. Just say where you want to go, give money and your done in less than a minute. The machines have English options.
