Do you have to fly into Reno and take a puddle jumper, or what? All help appreciated!
Citation or Lear is the best choice but why bother a car is cheaper and faster.

Fly into Reno and drive about 45 minutes to Tahoe City. There are small airports in Truckee and South Lake Tahoe if you can find someone with a plane, but it's easier to just drive to Tahoe City from Reno.

i usually fly into reno and then there are bus shuttles that leave every hour or so to lake tahoe. they have drop off's at many hotels in tahoe.

If you can get a better fare into Sacramento the drive is about an hour longer. The drive is easy, 4-6 lane highway most of the way.
