Good Day Everyone, Do you know any cheap (not more than Php10000) transient house than can accomodate 10-15 persons (family reunion fro Christmas)? Swimming pool might be a plus for the facilities. And we're going to stay for 2 days and one night. Thanks so much for your help and your time! ^^

At the beginning of September we will be spending 2 nights in the area, originally choosing to stay at Tagaytay but now we are considering to stay by the lake at Talisay. So can anyone inform us of the pros and cons regarding those two places. Also we are looking for a simple budget guest house if anyone can offer advice on this. Thanks, fellow VTers

Hi everyone, My husband and I are planning to go to Tagaytay starting Nov 22nd. Our itinerary consist of a hike to the Taal volcano and of course, a visit to the Good Shepherd convent's store. I'm planning 3d-2n (coming from Manila) but am not sure we have enough activities for the duration of our trip. Are there other places nearby like Batangas or Pagsanjan that we should try to cover in the same leg of our trip? This is my husband's 1st time to visit the Philippines so I'd like to give him a good impression. The thing is, I never really explored the beautiful places we have in the Phils :-( Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks ! Menchie

Hello, I am planing to Taal Volcano on 01Jul12. I stay at St Giles hotel Makati, which bus station near my hotel I wil take? I only want to Taal within 1 day. My budget for this trip is about 1500 php, Can I spend with that budget for taking bus, treking taal volcano? Anyone please helps me to give the easiest and shortest direction to Taal mountain. Hi! Me and my boyfriend planning to go in Tagaytay on the first week of July.. We will spend there at least 2days and 1 night... I don't have any idea how much will be our budget for the said trip... Hi, I just signed up on this site because of this forum I would like inquire if anyone can recommend a reasonable and trustworthy car or cab for rent with driver for a day in Tagaytay. My boyfriend (arriving from GA in June) and I are planning to go around Tagaytay and visit Taal lake just for a whole day anywhere between June and July. I'm planning ahead since we have so many places planned to visit and it's his first time here in the Philippines and there's just so much in our itinerary that we decided to travel conveniently (yet reasonably), since I myself am not familiar around Tagaytay on my own because my dad usually drives for us when we travel out of town. Has anyone tried staying at Tirona Apartment Hotel? As much as we want to stay in the nice hotels in Tagaytay, we just need a place to sleep since we'll check in late in the evening and check out early for a wedding. Tirona wants us to deposit full amount to have the room (good for 4) reserved for us, but I haven't seen any pictures of the room or any feedback? Starflower Tourist Lodge is a bit more expensive but nearer to the wedding venue where we're supposed to go. Our budget is PHP2,000 - 2,500 only since we're going to stay for a short time (around 12 hours only). Any other recommendations on rooms for rent within the above budget near Caleruega? Even those near the rotunda would be fine as long as it's not as far as those in the people's park side.
