good day...i just wanna ask if there is an access for using usb modem for internet connection within the area of looc,tablas island..what network provider has the best signal for internet connection...many thanks and more power!
I can't comment on connectivity from the islands, but it might help if you explain what sort of modem you mean? Are you referring to a USB dial-up (voiceband) modem or a more modern ADSL or even cable modem? A voiceband modem will just need a standard phoneline but of course you'll need the phone number of an internet access point, ideally local to the island that supports your connection speed. This is OK so long as you're used to the relativity low speeds and know how to cope. Even with V92 you only get at best 50kbit/s. If you're referring to a 'broadband' connection then I assume you're staying somewhere where you will be renting a phone line with ADSL or cable (if it exists)?
