Interested to know where to go for a drink in krakow. Pubs/bars/night clubs. Price of pint of lager/ spirit an mixer?

There is no specific and active forum for Olsztyn (why travel there any way?) but may be one of Polish people here have any experience : looking for hostel or other form of cheap accommodation for 6 days, close to the old town and center. Any advise, based on experience?

I am travelling to Warsaw at the end of the summer. I have to book a place to stay for 8 nights. I was told to get an apartment hotel but I am not too certain if it is a good idea. As someone who is travelling for the first time alone, I don't know what areas are going to be safe for a young girl. People tell me to book a hotel for the time of my visit but my budget is another issue to consider. Do you recommend staying at a hotel or a an apartment hotel? What is the safest and cheap area for a young female with high security and low rate of pick-pocketing?

I am thinking of travelling to Krakow this November (2nd). Could anyone tell me what the typical weather is like during this time of the year? I once had an unpleasant experience getting snowed in when I was in Prague a few years ago in February so I want to avoid this.

I'm going this summer to Krakov to visit Auschwitz and the rest of the concentration camps. How many days I need to stay in Krakow to be able to visit them. Is transportation easy? How long to Auschwitz from Krakov. Any other camps around?
