Hi guys I will be staying in Galissas in August with my wife and two daughters. I was wondering if anybody knew of good cheap and clean accommodation in the general area. Any info about the island would be welcomed. I'm a bit worried about keeping two young teenagers happy on holiday. Thanks
I stayed in Hotel Francoise and thought it was quite a good deal price wise and location wise. It will be very busy in August, so if you could adjust your timing I would suggest September. but from the other side, I think you duaghters will enjoy the company of other people. but for entertainment, the best place is Ermoupoli. a public bus goes regurlarly from Galissa to Ermoupoli and stops just outside of Hotel Francoise. greekhotel.com/cyclades/syro... enjoy your trip to Syros, best, Olya
