May I know what is the total bus fare (bus number 400) from T1 airport to T2/T3 domestic airport for 4 persons? I have 3 kids ages 15, 10 & 7. Do we pay the bus fare upon boarding the bus or do we have to buy the tickets first before boarding the bus? Where & what type of tickets that we have to buy if it's the latter? Thank you.
sydneyairport.com.au/go/term... If you take the T-Bus, you pay the driver on boarding the bus, see http://www.carbridge.com.au/s3.php - cost is5.50, no child fares mentioned. If you take the train, I THINK you only have to pay for one child (4-16), and the rest go free (but maybe someone else will know for sure): otherwise cost if5.20 per person, see airportlink.com.au/terminal-...

cityrail.info/tickets/fare_c... Have a look at the website above, they mention a special one way ticket

I agree - Go with the train instead, as it'll only take 2 minutes ($5.20 per person). There should be some sort of discounts too for your other kids, so, go up to the train ticket counter to enquire.

I caught the airport train Easter Saturday to Central Railway10 adult concession. Maybe I was overcharged!

I think that's about right, if you're going to Central. I think I paid15 for a one-way adult fare to Central last year, so, a concession fare sounds about right. I think5.20 for a three minute ride between domestic/international airport is a bit too steep, but what can you do?

I was informed the rail line was built for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and the higher charges are to recover the capital expenditure. I think12:50 to Travel Airport to Newcastle is fantastic on a Seniors Card.
