My wife and I are coming to Australia (Melbourne, Gold Coast and Sydney) in February, 2013. Can anyone please give us the lowdown concerning the Bondi Beach Market? Thank you.
http://www.bondimarkets.com.au/ well i haven't been to these markets but i have been to many markets in australia and you know - soap makers, frame makers, tie dyers, 15 minute neck massagers, leather workers, yoghurt stands, maybe a couple of yard sale type stalls i used to enjoy the oxford street markets in sydney in the old days - some buskers, and fire eaters and tarot card readers - but anyway you know it is bondi beach - bound to be a bit of a buzz

Bondi Markets: 10 am - 4pm Every Sunday Campbell Parade Bondi Beach Original designer clothing on offer, arts and crafts, vintage clothing, exotic imports, handmade jewellery, retro furniture and so much more... Bondi Markets are the place to find unusual nick-nacks- and there is 'street food' available at some stalls. I suggest that you go early. It gets very crowded- parking is difficult and expensive. Use public transport. There are buses from the city. The market is excellent, but prices tend to be a bit higher than in Glebe Market (also held on a Sunday)

My apologies: Glebe Market is held on a Saturday.

Totally agree with lynne about how crowded it gets - sometimes it seems like everyone in Sydney is there. The best thing about it is that sometimes you can find some very interesting items - things that you don't normally see at other markets. Take public transport - parking in Bondi can be a nightmare.

No real lowdown. It's there every weekend. It's not huge, but a nice beachside market. Manly beach also has a market.
