I had today booked a train ticket from Paris to Lausanne. on TGV-Europe website. While making entry for date of birth, my husbands date of birth is written correctly, while there is a slight mistake in entering my date of birth. Actual date of birth is 21-09-1947 while during entry it was written as 21-09-1946. Will this error in the date of birth recording matter.
Alternatively can we correct this entry now. We have obtained ticket by e-mail.

We did the same journey last yr - they just check the ticket and leave it at that. But then if you have the time why not get it corrected anyway.

Although I doubt it is a major issue I do understand why it is bothering you. I suggest you look at your order via
http://help.tgv-europe.com/en/
and see if there is any 'contact us' link or contact information in that area (which I cannot access, not having purchased a ticket). If not, there is a 'contact us' link here
help.tgv-europe.com/en/conta...
If you select the 'what is your query about' option an email form will appear.

It is very hard to have anything changed on an email ticket. After all, the railway has no way to be certain that you have destroyed all originals when it issues you with a new one.
However I would not worry. The only thing that matters is the name. The date of birth is asked during booking so that any age dependent reductions can be applied. Depending on who issues the ticket the birth date may, or may not be on the ticket.
