Hi guys,
I was exploring the SBB website for international journeys (Lauterbrunnen - Milan) and noticed that for the half fare discount selected it shows "Half-Fare travelcard 1/2/3-year".
Does this mean that the 1 month pass is not applicable for this route? I am confused.
Appreciate your advice! THANK YOU!!
I had not heard of the 1-month "Halbtax" card before -- only the Swisscard -- but many passes and cards are available in Switzerland only (e.g., 1-day Swisspass). You can inquire when you arrive in Switzerland, or perhaps a local VTer can provide further information and/or links.

There is a Half Fare card which is sold to residents, and which is valid for 1, 2 or 3 years. That is what is meant here. However, with the 1 month half fare card sold to tourists you can choose this tariff too.

@KVB: Do you have a link with details of the 1-month half fare card (as opposed to the Swiss Card)? Can one just purchase it at the Zurich Airport SBB office the day one arrives?
