Hello All I am going to the Gold Coast next month for 3 months and was wondering about how much day to day stuff costs, could anyone help telling me prices of the below in AUS Dollars? Beer (Pint) £ 20 Ciggeretes £ Steak enough for 1 £ Bottles of Soft Drinks £ Sausages (6 Pack)£ Mcdonalds meal £ Pizza Meal (Dominoes) £ Sun Lotion £ Microwave Meals £ Milk £ Eggs £ Meals if you eat out £ T Shirts £ Bus Tickets £ Thank you in Advance
Well 20 cigarettes will cost you about 7-8 dollars I think. MacDonalds meal will be about5.00-$6.00 Microwave meals are from3.50-$6.00 A 2 litre bottle of milk is about3.50 Eggs about2.50+ for 6 Half a kilo of skinless chicken fillets -6.50 The prices depend on where you shop. The eggs I buy are free range so you could get cheaper ones. And of course supermarkets have their specials every week. Hope this helps...

A fairly accurate rule of thumb is what you spend in pounds we pay in dollars. I don,t smoke but think a packet costs11 -15. Can of coca cola1.60, pub meals from10 up average would be20 plus drinks.
