I was looking at doing a Thai cooking class while in Phuket in a couple of months. Around Patong or Karon etc
I am looking for something not to expense as I don't have to biggest budget. Even if it's just for a couple/few hours.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Hello, I am going to Thailand in July with two other friends. I am having a bit of trouble finding nice accommodation that allows 3 people in one room.
Our budget is about $25-$50 each a night and we would like somewhere preferably as close to the beach as possible in Patong.
Any suggests would be great that I could take a look at :)

Hello all of you . I am in Phuket for four days . I hire the Motor Bike on rent after that some of mine friends told me that this is not save there because they Thai peoples cheat in Bikes and charges much more. 2- My flight is early morning 6:00 A.M from phuket international airport to Bangkok. How can i manage , how i get there at airport early in the morning ? pl advise hoe for the Kata beach from Patong ? can i go there by Motor bike ?

We are considering getting a package deal at the Phra Nang Inn on Ao Nang Beach, Krabi. A reduced rate for a couple of days and nights, including transportation from airport and 2 tours. We are planning this because we have never been to Thailand before (once we know a place well we do things ourselves). Is this a good decision? Have any of you had experience with package deals at hotels around Krabi?

Hi I am travelling from Alor Setar to Koh Lipe this end of May. Will it be better to go to Pak Bara via Hat Yai by taxi or to drive to Pak Bara through Wang Kelian ? Thank you.

I along with my wife and 1yr baby are planning a trip to Koh Samui in this summer.
Last year I stayed at Bo Phut for honeymoon. It was an excellent place for honeymoon, but fewer dining places.

This time I want to stay at even better place, where I can get more dining options at walking distance, and a seven eleven, must be a beach, where I can walk with my wife n kid, and relax, which must not be crowded.

Any suggestions???

My husband and I are going to Thailand for our honeymoon. We plan to do Bangkok -> Chiang Mai -> Phuket (?) -> Krabi, Phi Phi, etc.

Do we need bother staying in Phuket or should we spend another day or two in Chiang Mai then head straight to the islands?

What is the easiest, cheapest and fastest way to travel from Pattani to Krabi and from Pattani to Phuket.

We hope to visit either Phi Phi Don or Koh Rascha yai in mid October. We understand this is towards the end of the rainy season. How likely are we to be rained out? Also I've read boat cancellations are common, for these island how likely is this to happen?
Also we plan to do some snorkeling. I've heard the water is always warm, but in october can the weather create bad conditions in the water?

We are planning to go to koh samui as part of our honeymoon trip, end of june 2013. You guys have any suggestion on the best place to stay? Within the range of 1000bht to 3000bht per night. I don't really mind about the areas, because we can go around Koh Samui by motorbike or car right? As long as there is a place to eat, to do water activities.

Do you know halal restaurant or roadside stall?

Help! My 17-year-old son wants to travel with a teen tour group to Phang-Nga, but I have read about the various poisonous snakes and spiders...This just doesn't seem like a wise first independent travel experience to me. Can anyone tell me how worried I should be? I'm puzzled that travel groups bring inexperienced teens to a place with so many dangers at hand. Thanks for any help you can give-
